About Our Products

Handmade/Crafted in British Columbia, Canada and manufactured in small batches. Product colour is usually consistent per flavour, but can change in different batches.
Ingredient Transparency: All ingredients are listed using International Nomenclature of Cosmetic Ingredients (INCI) as required in Canada. Common ingredient names are listed in brackets.
Ingredients: olea europaea (100% pure olive) oil, eloeis guineensis (renewable resource palm) oil, cera alba (beeswax), cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, ricinus communis (castor) seed oil, stevia rebaudiana, aroma, mica .15oz/4.25g.
All efforts are made to use organic ingredients.
Ingredients are purchased from Canadian companies when possible. All ingredients in Hooker Lips are approved for lips and formulated with safe usage amounts. Paraben-Free, Petroleum-Free, BHA-Free, Lanolin-Free, SPF-Free, Not tested on animals but they would probably like it!
We test all flavours / batches on ourselves. It is safe to lick/eat the product. I don't recommend eating a full tube in one sitting. Sensitive lips should avoid Mint or Spice flavours. Contact us to confirm.
Aroma scents are proprietary knowledge from manufactures. It is possible some might contain sunflower oil or soybean oil. So far every manufacture we have asked confirmed no presence of tree nuts or chocolate in any flavour. Do ask us if there is an allergy concern pre/post purchase.
Product Transparency: Flavours will smell and taste similar to the product flavour name. The lip balms are temperature sensitive. If they get too hot or freeze it could change the ingredient structure. Do not leave in direct sunlight or hot/cold vehicle. If the product gets soft it might harden in the fridge. Lip balm tube containers are clear (on majority of products) so you can see your product. There is space for the turning mechanism. The contents are 4.25g same as any other standard sized lip balm. The empty tube is recyclable, was made in the United States and shipped via ground.
